The SES BioEnergy system utilises the SES Composting MBT front-end to produce a pure biomass fuel suitable for pyrolysis. The pyrolysis stage cleanly converts the biomass into a gas which then powers gas gensets to produce much needed renewable energy. This results in an in-vessel MBT system that is: energy self-sufficient; exports a significant amount of renewable electrical power; diverts all biodegradable material from landfill; and has a negative carbon footprint. Any synthetics in the waste stream are baled and stored in segregated landfills for future use. The MBT front-end ensures that recyclable materials can be cleanly recovered. The SES BioEnergy System is particulary suitable for areas that have good soil quality but where landfill of organics is not permitted.
