Clean energy is a term used to describe energy generated from non-renewable sources such as plastics using the latest most environmentally benign technologies. SES utilise advanced pyrolysis in its Waste Fuelled Power Stations to safely convert materials such plastics into a calrorific gas that is then cleaned and scrubbed before being used to fire high efficiency gas powered generators.

The SES SynEnergy and SES BioSynEnergy plants are examples of clean energy systems.
